The Latin name translates as 'First flower' and indeed this little plant even shows its head before the end of the old year in sheltered places. Our little 'Sabhaircín' generally flowers from April to May when its pale yellow 2-3cm flowers with their deep yellow centres decorate grassy banks, woodlands and roadsides. The Limited Editions are beautifully printed on a very high quality art paper, using exceptional inks which have a fade proof archive quality of 75 years, most are printed from 1.00 although some of the larger ones are from only 50, all the prints are signed and numbered by June. These Kerry Wildflowers Limited Editions look wonderful hung together as a collection of three or more.
